About SMASH CABARET Grand Prix 2020
This is the annual grand finale of the interactive musical performance that began in 2017. The 10 SMASH CABARET champions who have competed between May 2019 and January 2020 will be performing a selection of musical numbers and, at the end of the show, one of them will be named champion of the year!
The champion will be decided by the votes of the audience at the performance and also those who are watching from home.
The grand prize is a round-trip ticket from Tokyo to New York! The winner will also be getting vocal lessons from current Broadway actors, tickets to a Broadway show, a back stage tour, etc.
Rules
Semi-finals: The performers will be divided into 3 blocks (A~C) using a lottery system and they will perform a musical number. The audience will then vote for one winner per block and the winner will be performing in the finals.
Finals: The 3 winners of each block will perform and the audience will select one winner to be the champion of the year.
